IF YOU WANT TO VISIT AFRICA, LIVE IN AFRICA, INVEST IN AFRICA, DO BUSINESS IN AFRICA.
I AM HERE FOR YOU
My name is Bridget Boakye and I’m on a mission to bridge the gap: to connect people, businesses, and most importantly perspectives on the African continent and in the Diaspora.
Having grown up in both the U.S. and Ghana, I have a deep connection to, and understand movements in both places. I want to use the privilege of perspective to share experiences, trends, and insights that move both the continent and Diaspora forward.
On the day to day, I work as a business development manager/consultant for a number of startups in Ghana. A few of them include Talents in Africa and Africa Schools Online. I also write for a number of publications, including Face2FaceAfrica and Nubuke Foundation.
I am the co-founder and strategist for Africans on China where we advocate and elevate the African voice on Sino-African relations, and Women’s Corner GH, a collective to strengthen women’s voice in content creation and storytelling in Ghana.
I am passionate about economics, development, history, culture education, technology, women’s rights, as well as pop culture, music, travel, and health/fitness. I am a proud member of the Global Shapers Accra Hub.
I am so excited and grateful that you have decided to join me on the journey. I hope you will say hi, contact me, or leave a comment.
